Samantha Wee
Committee Member
Samantha Wee completed her Diploma in Kodály Music Pedagogy at the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music (Kecskemét, Hungary), where she trained in musicianship, choral pedagogy, and choral conducting.
Her passion for choral music bloomed from her experiences as a school girl chorister, and continued as an adult chorister with many notable choral and vocal ensembles. She has had the invaluable experience of performing and competing on the international stage, such as at the World Choir Games in 2014 with the National University of Singapore Choir, who achieved Gold awards in 3 categories. In 2022, Samantha decided to pursue choral conducting as a career, and began with her involvement in the Choral Collective Residency Programme (CCRP) as a chorister.
Samantha currently sings in Vox Camerata’s chamber choir, and also serves as an assistant conductor in Vox Camerata’s Community Choir, as well as the semi-professional choral ensemble, The Graduate Singers. Samantha is currently pursuing her Masters in Music at the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music (Kecskemét, Hungary).
