Marcus Lee
Committee Member
Marcus Lee is the Founder and Artistic Director of Choral Moments. He currently directs the largest number of Treble Choirs in Singapore and have garnered many local and international awards that include Distinction Awards (ABRSM & LCM), Merit Awards (ABRSM), Distinction (SYF), Diamond (Be-dazzled!), and numerous special prizes. Treble Choirs under Lee’s direction have featured in numerous prestigious events such as the Singapore Youth Festival Celebration Concerts, Singapore Youth Festival Presentation, Global Educational Leadership Conference, Treble Voices Festival Singapore and the Choral Directors Association of Singapore Opening Ceremony.
Marcus holds Associate Diplomas in Music Performance in Voice (with Distinction) and Choral Conducting (with Distinction), from Trinity College of London (ATCL) and London College of Music (ALCM) respectively. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Music Education (with Emphasis in Choral Conducting) at the Centro Escolar University Conservatory of Music (PHP).
Marcus is a strong advocate of quality choral education and experiences. Choirs under his charge have performed with and learnt under world-renowned composers and conductors such as Arwin Tan (PHP), Colin Durrant (UK), John Hooper (CA), Johnathan Velasco (PHP), Jude B Roldan (PHP), Kentaro Sato (JPN), Maria Theresa Vizconde Roldan (PHP), Denes Szabo ( HUN )
